Compatible or Remanufactured Printer Cartridges
Since the days of simple dot matrix printers modern inkjet printers have developed rapidly, and now produce good quality colour and photo prints at affordable prices for every home and office. The four colour litho process, using black, cyan, magenta and yellow has translated brilliantly to modern cartridges, both for inkjet and colour laser printers. In the inkjet world, Epson, Canon and Hewlett Packard lead the field: the Stylus is quietly being overtaken by the Expression, the HP Officejet by the Photosmart or the Envy, and the Canon Pixma is an enduring printer series.
The manufacturers are able to produce quite sophisticated electronic machines at a low cost. It is not for us to comment, but we suspect millions of consumers worldwide might have wondered if they sell printers into the market at or near cost and seek to make their profits on the inks. Printer ink is known to be one of the most expensive liquids sold: HP for example, on their UK website, sell their standard 302 black cartridge at just over £3550 per litre. Really. *
We are constantly searching the market to offer only the best compatible and remanufactured cartridges, not just for the well-known brands, but for all makes, such as Brother, Lexmark, Kodak, and even Advent, a “retired brand”. Original cartridges can be very (VERY) expensive, and today’s compatibles are of equal quality and capacity for everyday usage. The manufacturers are prevented by law from disallowing the use of compatibles and considerable savings can be made by buying modern top quality ink cartridges or toners.
